Primorsko is a relatively small town with population of about 2,500 people.
It lies on a cape jutting out between the Stampoulo Bay and the Diavolski Bay. Seaside panoramic road connects the town with the rest of the Black Sea towns - Sozopol, Burgas, Nessebar, Sunny Beach, Kiten, Duni, etc.

Primorsko is known as "The pearl of the Southern Black Sea". The sea there is quiet, without high and low tides, with flat and gradually changing sea bottom.
The town is famous for its Northern and Southern beaches. The Northern one is more open and offers rough sea, which makes it treasured by surfers, while the Southern one is smaller and calmer, and hence preferred by families.
The total area of the coastline is about 10 kilometres of very clear fine sands.

Primorsko is traditionally known for the International Youth Resort Centre (MMC).

In 1998 Primorsko was awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education in Europe with the prestigious Blue Flag - recognition of the purity of the nature in its region.
In the immediate vicinity of Primorsko are located the "Ropotamo" reserve and the protected territories "Arkutino", "Vodni lilii", "Morski pelin", "Stampoulo" marsh - land.
Ropotamo and Diavolska rivers pass through the town. Diavolska river receives its waters from the Diavolsko marsh-land which altitude is bellow the sea level.
The bay of the same name that creates the river and the marsh has firths and reedy moors. Ropotamo river is made by the merge of Cerovska river with Rosenska river.
The district araund the mouth of Ropotamo is known as the Ropotamo natural park, with rocky phenomena like "Lavska glava" and "Zmeiova kashta". The river is floatable for 6km away from it.
About 6km southeast from Primorsko the remarkable cape "Maslen", with its fantastic fake fiords, is situated.
The typical temperature in July is 27C but often it reaches 30C - 33C. The combination of high atmospheric pressure, humidity and temperature of the air is very favourable. From April till October sunny weather predominates.
The duration of the day is 13 to 15 hours. The Sun is active from 8 to 11 hours a day.
